Medical Assistant Program - Optics Technology

Open to Tawjihi/ High School certificate holders in the scientific stream only. Major subjects covered in this diploma: eye anatomy, optical engineering and manufacturing glasses.

Program Duration: Three years
Credit Hours: 105 credit hours in addition to 7 college hours for ESP and ICDL in English.

Graduates can work as assistant ophthalmologists, work at optics companies in glasses manufacturing or importing and exporting, they can start their own businesses, work at hospitals or at the Department of Drivers and Vehicle Licensing.   Graduates can also bridge to Optics Technology in accordance to the Higher Education Council’s regulations.
