Hospitality and Tourism - Hospitality & Tourism Program

Hotel Management:

This specialization is open to all Tawjihi certificate holders. The Hotel Management specialization has been designed to give graduates the maximum knowledge and skills necessary in the hospitality industry, the program includes the curriculum provided by Al Balqa University as well as extra courses in Hospitality that are given through additional training.  This specialization focuses on the following:

1. Basics of Hotel & Tourism Management.
2. Restaurant & Kitchen Management.
3. Outside catering
4. Western and Oriental Food Preperation.
5. Service & Etiquette
6. Housekeeping.
7. Using the specialized hotel softwares (fideleo).
8. English & French Languages in Hospitality

Program’s Duration: 2 years.
Credit Hours: (72) credit hours, in addition to 14 compulsory credit hours that are taken as training courses.

Our graduates are qualified to work in sales, front office reception, customer service, banqueting or the call center in major hotels. They are also well equipped to work as sous-chefs, teachers in private and vocational schools, trainers in vocational training, and restaurant managers.
